Tuesday, September 29th, 2026 Part 12 of: “Missed, Misquoted and Misunderstood” a Community Bible Study at Bridgewood Church in Clarkston, MI. There are several "things" in God's Word that have been "Missed, Misquoted and Misunderstood” in the church, from pastors, preachers, teachers, christian friends etc.
In tonight’s lesson, we will conclude our series by looking at the book of Revelation. Jesus commands His disciples to know the signs of His return in the clouds (rapture) and the “things” we can see coming to pass that will take place in it’s fullness during the 7 year tribulation... John start Revelation with the pastor is blessed to preach about what is contained in Revelation and the the a person is blessed to hear about it… So, why do many churches skip over these “things” that Jesus commanded us to know? Why do many pastors call it allegory? Or say, who can really know? Why would Jesus command us to know something we couldn’t know? Why did the disciples want to know 2,000 years ago but pastors and church attendees don’t want to know today while it is taking place?
Over the past year I have compiled questions that I have received regarding: Israel (is it the government, the president, the people, the land) do i just pray for them regardless? what about Palestine? as a follower of Jesus Christ - what does the Bible say.
What if my family member, friends, husband, adult child misses the rapture of the church? what happens and what kind of information should I leave on what they must do and what will happen during the 7 year tribulation? is there any hope for heaven?
What is sin? Not just missing the mark but what are the actual sins that if habitually done will cause my by my choice not to enter the kingdom of Heaven.
What is the millennial reign of Christ? what happens during the 1,000 years?
What should a christian do, think, respond regarding Islam? The Bible said there would be an anti-christ movement... what happens next?
Religions? am I in the "right" religion? should I be in a religion? what type of church should I go to? What is a false religion, what is false teaching... Paul said if anyone teaching something different leave that church.
